Kuecker Logistics Group, Inc. (KLG) formerly Kuecker Equipment Company was established in 1980 by Stanley J. Kuecker, who has been in the material handling industry since 1971. The first nine of those years he worked as a salesman for other integrators. It was during those years in which Stan formed his own opinions as to how a company in this industry should be run. In 1980, Stan decided to open his own business operating under the philosophy of "always taking care of the customer and his associates".
The plan for the first few years of KLG was to only take on projects a new small business could handle, finish them the right way and create stable base for a growing business with a good reputation. In time, Stan's wife Alice and his two sons, Jim and Nick, also joined the company. With their help, and that of some loyal and committed associates, KLG has grown from a one man operation with no inventory, to a company with 28 employees operating in an 85,000 square foot facility integrating material handling systems as large as $14 million.
Originally, KLG's niche was in the automotive and farm implement area of material handling. By successfully completing those projects and progressively taking on larger and more complicated projects, KLG has developed into a full-line integrated material handling specialist.
Our capabilities start with the right combination of people and equipment. Our sales representatives bring an average of 18 years industry experience to our clients. This enables them to not just sell equipment and services but offer valuable guidance toward finding the best solutions for our clients. An in-house engineering and project management department ensures every project we do is designed and implemented properly.
Although headquartered in suburban Kansas City, Missouri, our customers and the projects we have integrated are located throughout the United States. These customers have chosen to work with KLG because of our commitment to honor our promises, fulfill our customer's requests, finish the job on time and offer continued professional support.
